Ted Giovanis formed TGM (formerly T. Giovanis Motorsports) in 1991.  For over a decade, TGM raced at the club level, and in 2006, the team made its professional racing debut.

In 2018, TGM fielded the Nos. 4 and 46 Mercedes-AMG GT4s in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) Grand Sport (GS) class; TGM brought the platform three victories and four total podiums on the way to scoring Mercedes-AMG's first IMPC GS Championship for both the Driver and Team Championship Titles.

For 2019, TGM will again field the Nos. 4 and 46 Mercedes-AMG GT4s, featuring drivers Ted Giovanis, Guy Cosmo, Hugh Plumb, and Owen Trinkler.
